The past many months have been exceedingly interesting for me. You've seen that in the sense that I haven't been developing the Distance Reiki site or sending out this newsletter. But as Reiki has become more aligned with my career now, I hope to develop more in the coming months, and to get in touch a little more often than once every 6 months!
So, let me catch you up a bit on what's been going on, and then introduce you to the most important article I've ever added to the website.

First of all, I have taken a new direction with my career. I am no longer taking on paying clients as a ghostwriter. (Since 2001, I've provided business writing and ghostwriting services as my "day job".) Instead, I've gone back to school to become a Heilkunstler.
A Heilkunstler is one who practices a holistic form of homeopathy that differs from classical homeopathy in certain ways. First, a Heilkunstler considers regimen (diet, sleep, exercise, etc.) as well as a person's emotional and spiritual needs as a critical part of the healing process. Second, he doesn't just use homeopathy for an immediate disease, but uses it to energetically address past traumas that contribute to today's diseases. And third, he treats disease as an ENTITY that needs to be addressed on the level of the energy body with medicine – with homeopathy.
(After all, homeopathy is an energy medicine. Can you see why this field interests me so much, and how it's aligning me more with my Reiki service?)
I am still early in my studies, but I have started the eventual website for my practice. On that site, I go by my given name, and not "Ramaja," which has been my healing name for Distance Reiki. Through that site, I'll deal more with health from a homeopathic and regimen perspective, while focusing Distance Reiki on the energy perspective.

Become a Published Author ... without Writing! (YOUR idea turned into a book FOR you.)
As you can imagine, when I was ghostwriting for other people, I had a hard time ever getting my OWN writing done. Now that I have more time for studying, I've also taken more time to write my own books.
I've actually got several in mind (and partially on paper) that deal with the Christ theme. These are books that I bet the Distance Reiki group will especially be interested in.
But meanwhile, I've got one book half finished, and I plan to have the first draft finished by the end of this year. This is actually a sci-fi book, in the sense that it's set about 100 years from now and deals with interplanetary politics. But really, it's a commentary on our business and political worlds TODAY.
It's also a pretty funny book.
(And actually, there is one Christ-like figure briefly in this book who, you're the first to know, may well be the subject of the second book in this series.)
Now, since I'll be trying to land an agent in the next 6 months, I'm already trying to raise awareness of the book in several ways. The primary way is by setting up a blog that tells about my progress on the manuscript and that will feature commentary from the two main characters of the book: Darwood and Smitty.
And to encourage people to check out what I'm doing, I've put a substantial offer on the table. ONE of my readers can win the chance to have his/her OWN idea or story turned into a book and handed to my agent and publisher. I will GHOSTWRITE the book for that reader, which means no one will know. And s/he will be the author, will earn the royalties, etc.
In other words, I'm trying to launch my own writing career by launching someone else's too. (Makes good energetic sense.)

A Critical Article on Energy: "The Man Who Raped His Daughter"
Finally, with the extra time I now have, I've taken this chance to write an article I've wanted to write for a long time. I think it's a powerful demonstration of how energy really operates in this world and how careful we all need to be in the way we use it. (Especially as we become more energetically powerful ourselves.)
