Hello again from Distance Reiki – and Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who are celebrating.
I'm excited to talk with you today for a few minutes because of some new articles I've written and how they could point you to some great gift ideas for the coming holiday season. Hopefully they're interesting regardless of gift-giving too.
There's also information below on my upcoming gift to you.
One article is about "Reiki and Animals," in case you're an animal lover and want to know whether Reiki can really work with animals. (No gifts involved with this one.) You can find that article here:
Another is called "Reiki Reiki Reiki." It's about – what else? – one more look at what Reiki really is and how it affects us. There is an especially interesting part of this article that talks about the presence of emissions inside vacuums at the temperature of absolute zero – in other words, there shouldn't be anything inside, but there is. The article is here:

This and a WHOLE LOT of other scientific evidence for how things like Reiki work is provided in a fantastic new book called "Science and the Akashic Field." I cannot recommend this book highly enough for anyone interested in Reiki and the rationale behind it. A great gift, too, especially for those who practice Reiki and want friends and family to understand. The book is available through Distance Reiki's "Whole Health Shop" (an Amazon store):

Finally, I've got an article called "Reiki Jewelry" that has to do with the relationship of therapeutic gemstones and energy healing like Reiki. The vibrations of high quality gemstones can really be quite powerful, and my wife – who often catches every cold that goes around – has made it through several household colds now without getting sick herself, we believe in thanks to the bloodstone necklace (for immunity) I gave her this summer.
Now I'm getting one for myself and one for my mom for Christmas, and my wife (shhh) will get a couple more too, though of different gemstones. These make for POWERFUL gifts offering a range of vibrational benefits, which means you can fit each gift to a loved one's needs. (Or your own.)
You can read the article here:

There is a link towards the end of the article about where I recommend buying gemstones: Gemisphere. The owner has written several influential books on therapeutic gemstones (also available on their site) that, in my mind, showcase him as THE person to trust for gemstones that actually work. The people at Gemisphere are also wonderful, helpful, and happy to spend time with you if you have questions (even by phone).
Check them out now, because they're having a holiday sale of 20% off all therapeutic gemstones. And by the way ... while some of the stones get pretty expensive (emeralds and rubies for instance), a high-quality bloodstone necklace starts at just $52 during this sale!
(Just don't wait till the last minute. They're selling a ton because of this sale, and while they're trying to keep up with demand, I was lucky to get the last of some jewelry that I ordered.)
If you visit their site through the link in the article, I will also be happy to send Distance Reiki specifically to the jewelry you purchase – no charge. Or give them a call and tell them that Steve McCardell sent you – they'll take great care of you, and again I will send Reiki to your jewelry upon request.
Finally, here's a heads-up on a gift I'll soon have for anyone interested in stories from the Bible. My brother is developing a gorgeous children's book on the story of creation (with more books to come) where the stories are told in a unique and fun style of poetry. The art is stunning! I hope to have a fr-ee version as an e-book available to you through my next e-mail. So keep watching for the Distance Reiki News.
Until then, I wish you good energy, good health, and all good things.
