Reiki and Animals
If you’re a pet owner, you no doubt understand that pets are usually considered members of the family, especially in the case of dogs and cats. Because of their status in people’s lives, folks often want to know if Reiki can be used on animals.
The more I study into today’s leading edge quantum physics, the more I understand in a technical sense how Reiki really works. In short, there is a field called the Zero Point Field that physicists believe is not just a field of endless, potential energy, but also a field of information. It is a field that connects all living things.
When working with Reiki (or any mode of energy medicine or healing), it is really this field that we’re working in, and as a result, you can work on any living thing whose health depends on its biofield (part of the universal information field). This means that Reiki can work with people, plants, and animals.
Granted, an animal may not be able to put into words how he’s feeling in response to a Reiki treatment, so the results need to really be profound to know that they’re doing much good. But is it possible for Reiki to help out your pet? You bet. |
